POWER to HOPE!

Our Story
In Spring of 2013, PCI members registered to run in the Bluenose Marathon races in Halifax, Nova Scotia. One of the PCI members decide to join Team to Train, a group of runners competing in the Bluenose Marathon who fundraise for cancer non-profit organizations. This member wanted to honour a close friend battling cancer.
Inspired by this event, the PCI team launched Power to Hope - a non-profit Organization dedicated to fundraising efforts to help cancer patients and their families across Newfoundland and Labrador. Power to Hope is a volunteer-led team of people encouraging healthy, active living with 100% of monies raised being donated to the Cancer Care Foundation's Patient and Family Support Fund.
Over $500,000 has been raised to Date!
HOPE is powerful – When you believe that good things will come, hope inspires. It is an unwavering belief that brings light and life to those around you.
