OUR MISSION

Power Conditioning Inc. is committed to building a strong community centered on health, fitness, performance, and longevity. We deliver progressive, effective workouts in a safe, fun, and positive environment.

Whether you’re focused on athletic performance, personal fitness, or general well-being, PCI will help you reach your goals.

We aim to make your time with us the best part of your day — a rewarding experience you look forward to, not something you “have to do.”

If you’re coachable and motivated to improve your health and fitness long-term — whether just starting out or pushing elite performance — we’re here to elevate your game.

No experience required — just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the drive to work hard.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We follow a Strength, Movement, Balance approach to health and performance. We believe in the power of Body, Mind, and Community — moving well and moving often, and balancing your life toward your goals.

We place equal emphasis on training, recovery, nutrition, mindset, and connection with others.

A proper exercise program enhances your strength and conditioning to improve your functional capacity — your ability to perform daily activities, recreation, or sport. It should build strength, improve movement patterns, and help you become a better version of yourself every time you step into the studio.

This approach also supports those managing chronic disease or injury, improves body composition, and fosters a higher quality of life at any age.

Our programs use dynamic, full-body functional movements in coached, fun, 60-minute, technique-focused sessions.

RYAN POWER

Founder & Master Trainer, PCI

Ryan’s passion for fitness began early in life. As a dedicated athlete, he played multiple sports — but hockey was always his focus. He competed in junior leagues like the OHL, QMJHL, and MJAHL, and later played varsity hockey in the AUS/CIS circuit. Ryan also competed in pro and senior leagues including the CEHL and WCSHL, and was part of the 2011 Allan Cup Champion Clarenville Caribous.

After his professional playing career, Ryan transitioned into coaching and program development. He led off-ice training for Andrews Hockey Growth Programs and earned his degree from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2005. He has since completed numerous fitness certifications.

Today, as a Master Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and Sports Conditioning Specialist, Ryan operates Power Conditioning in two locations: St. John’s and Clarenville. He is known for delivering elite, accessible training tailored to all fitness levels — from young athletes to everyday adults.
